I wonder how many people on Hive Engine/Leo Dex know that Splinterlands is Tokenized to the point of being able to hold and trade game assets as a token in the market? For me personally its a mind bending concept! I may be the last one to know...From DEC in game currency to past card decks now only available for sale on the DEX market, to vouchers for the new Chaos Legion booster packs,The majority of Splinterlands is Tokenized allowing everyone to invest in Splinterlands without having to be a gaming participant!
I always supported Splinterlands as a passive cheer leader. The gratitude for the daily SPS I receive from Splinterlands, and the mainstream influx of players prompted me to symbolically purchase a spell book and support Splinterlands which has the power to push Hive over the edge into the majors. That's where I stop and the family takes over.
Im not ready to pickup a game and invest the necessary time into it. Im 49 and its not age but time, it Won't happen! However my wife and daughter are gaming geniuses. I said ,"Someone please investigate how to play this game, I have the means in my DEX to invest and finance a gaming account". That was not a great selling point😃. My family did take over my Splinterlands Account and it is a success in many interesting ways.
When you talk about Blockchain Investing or gaming the silence is deafening. Nobody will ever understand a word I say. Now that the family is experiencing The Hive Blockchain crossover from the user desktop to the Leo/Dex Hive/Engine. What better way to teach young people Crypto Investing and Blockchain Gaming, It truly was an eye opening experience for everyone involved. My family would tell me what happened in game and what they could use, I would use the market to make that happen and talk about the price of DEC, Saving Dec for the airdrop vs. Spending it, investing in card decks as a financial instrument. We both learned and its great exposure to Crypto Finance, which combined with the obvious family sharing aspect and you have a new family business!
