At what point do you hit the panic button when gas prices don't appear to be going down anytime soon. I get the feeling that 5$ a gallon gasoline is the new normal.
The double whammy is food prices rising to cover higher costs in shipping, and the whole chain reaction of rising prices eating away at tight budgets.
The only saving grace is the labor market is still struggling to fill jobs? I seen this first hand, what happened after Covid? did body snatchers come take people away or what. I don't understand it. Im grateful though because this economy is becoming painful and I am not in the mood.
I won't bring politics into this energy crisis. This is about every day people who are just trying to live getting crushed and it needs to stop. We live in a world full of abundance. There is no shortage of oil and natural gas. The only shortage we are experiencing is common sense from the Establishment in charge.
If you are suffering from this contrived energy crisis I can only pray for you and say we are all experiencing this mess globally. I refuse to get caught up in the politics and point fingers at political parties or countries. We as people globally have more in common. Despite language barriers and geography we all share a common bond of Labor, Family, Food and Shelter. If globalization has taught us anything it makes us realize that the 99% of us are just trying to live and provide for our families. If the world was left up to the people we could have true peace and prosperity.
