Hello Everyone,
I bought some Krispy Kreme's last weekend as I wanted to get their lates ones in before they go next month. This first one was exclusive to Tesco which was great news for me. Normally I have to travel into town for the special ones, so I was glad to see this was available locally.

I was really looking forward to this, especially as it was not available in their main stores. I haven't seen a donut from Krispy Kreme like this before and to me it looked special. I loved the yellow icing with the colourful stars. The filling sounded yummy too. When I started to eat this donut, I thought there was no filling in it as I couldn't taste much. After another mouthful or so, I saw the cookie dough kreme. It was light and fluffy but I couldn't taste any cookie flavour and I certainly didn't get any cookie pieces. From what I could see, the cookie filling was more like very fine cookie crumble. I tried so hard to taste the centre, but I got nothing. I was pretty disappointed.
Style over substance with this one. It hurts me to say this, but I just couldn't believe the lack of flavour. Wasn't worth the calories at all.
