The babbling fills the area, rocks and fallen branches being slowly devoured by this pondering wisp of water steadily making its way down to the coast.
Fish leap out of the water here and there and in the calmer water schools of minnows can be made out. There is a shallow crossing by which one could traverse the water to the other side. A large willow tree has made this place its home its gallant branches stretching protectively across the stream and in its shadow the breeze is cool and refreshing.
