I'm already 80+ days old on this nice social networking platform - and it's great! I love the environment especially the people who share their great talents, whether in literary, videography or music. There are also nice people who give information and insights on latest cryptocurrency trends, latest coin updates and others (which I know nothing of😆). And there are those not so nice people also, who continue in their scam post, sucking the reward pool and in whatsoever they continue doing. (But that's none of my business!😆)
Anyway, let us get back to my topic. Why do I love poetry by the way? As I googled the term "poetry", I got this definition; poetry is "a literary work in which special intensity is given to the expression of feelings and ideas by the use of distinctive style and rhythm; poems collectively or as a genre of literature". Source Pretty accurate definition we got here.
But why do I love it? Why do I love making one? Just simple. Looking back at the definition we have " to the expression of feelings and ideas". When I write a poem, I would relate it to experiences. I am a man who thinks a lot and there seems to be no other good way in which I can express what I think and feel. At first, I struggled with the construction of my poems since I am not a literary genius and a lot of times I got discourage the way I arrange words since I am not really that good in English. But I have this desire to express the ideas inside, seems like I would burst when I cannot share or express it. But here's the good point, after I have constructed my poem it gives a sense of relief, a sense of contentment and a little but satisfying joy.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Most of the poem I wrote relates to my experience in Christianity. It captivated me and it has always been captivating to me. The joy that it brought me gives me ideas and feelings that I translate it to poetry. It is such a joy in which a depraved man like me, dying in sin, will be made alive and live to the full through the saving grace of the Son of God, Christ Jesus our Lord. The love of God and his righteous judgment portrayed in the cross in which Jesus Christ died. And instead of me dying because of my sin and rebellion against God, Christ Jesus stood up and took my place and paid the price in full. I don't deserve this, but through His grace, I am saved together with my brothers and sisters in faith. And on that saving grace, sin just started falling off. Though I am not going to be perfect, the work of the Spirit makes me continue to grow in repentance. This truth made me overflow with joy and inspires me to live and to share my testimony through poetry.
Well, we are done. I hope you have learned some insights and start making your poem! And I do hope in all your works and all your ways, you would always acknowledge the One who made it possible for you to live! Praise Him! He is worthy.
