So let me share how I ended up on these gigs
Believe it or not, I saw the transcription job ad on olx.ph, an e-commerce website in the Philippines, something where you least expect to find a job.
I didn't have a job for a month before I stumbled on this ad so make sure to have savings before you leave your job :0
I found my gaming writer gig on this site gamejournalismjobs.com. Even though they offered me a voluntary position (no pay), I still took it because of what I will learn as a game journalist and I know it will help me build my portfolio in case I want to look for other writing gigs.
Finally, I saw on a forum about Steemit and it made me very excited because I've been wanting to blog for some time. If it wasn't for Steemit, I wouldn't have been a gaming writer.
My first 2 weeks were very hard because I felt that my blogs isn't reaching anyone until I realized that something is lacking in what I'm doing and I'm glad that a lot of people in the community helped me.
I am 1 month old here now and is consistently gaining followers and earnings because of their help.
