Blogger is a platform owned by google where you can make your own blog for free. You will get a unique blog address and unlimited hosting pan. Despite those features, people likes to switch their blog from blogger to a paid hosting service. But why?.
Making blog on blogger platform is just like building your mansion in a rented land. So the owner have the authority to pulled you out from the land. Blogging platform is just like that. You you are building your site on blogging platform, then you have to play by their rules.
You can't place any add as you like or they have power to terminate your blog at any time. If they see any abrupt change in blogger traffic they could delete your blog. There are many other rules you have to follow. Also you can't write anything you want. In blogger text editing is limited, adding longer video is not possible. But if you try to embed your youtube video link, video channel can be terminated. I have been working with youtube and learned those things over the last few years.
Another problem is the seo problem. In case of blogger seo is limited. You can't control your url structure. It will always add some date in the url link automatically. Editing of theme is limited also it is not possible to use plugin in blogger. However you can add some widget. If you earn backlink for blog you get nothing, because it's just a subdomain.
Blogger platform mainly prefers google adsense, but their cost per click is very low. You can get 3 to 30 cent maximum from a valid click.
