About 206 billionaires are thought to have been included in the famous Forbes magazine, which each year publishes various classifications about the planet's richest.
For 2018, there was an additional 23 billion that have become part of the list with a total value of $ 1.3 trillion. 58% of them have a fortune greater than a year ago and only 13% have fallen into their wealth.
Countries with the largest number of riches in the world of technology are the US and China with 38% and 26%, respectively. Most of America's billionaires live in California.
It is worth mentioning that only 15 out of 206 billionaires belong to the female gender. Also, 96% of the total number has created their own property without any kind of inheritance.
The wealthiest person who heads the 2018 billionaires list is the founder and shareholder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, with a fortune worth 112 billion dollars. It owns 16% of Amazon's shares, the Blue Origin spatial company and the Washington Post newspaper.
Bezos has left second place to one of the richest people in the last 24 years, Bill Gates with a $ 90 billion fortune, not including $ 31 billion worth of assets dedicated to Bill & Melinda Gates Philanthropy Foundation.
Mark Zuckerberg ranks third in the list with a $ 71 billion fortune.
This year's novelties include the listing of two Russian billionaires, Andrey Andreev, who is the creator of Badoo, the most widely used platform for online recognitions, as well as Pavel Durov, who is named as Russia's Zuckerberg after creating the most used social network in Russia VKontakte as well as Messenger Telegram.
