So yesterday during my fiasco trying to get a Walmart load out of Colton, CA I grabbed my phone to transfer some steem (from a power down) to Bittrex because I was BROKE AS HELL!
In a rush I mistakenly entered in my SBD Wallet address instead of my Steem Wallet address in the Memo field.
The address for my Bittrex Steem Wallet (that I should have put in the Memo field is): 8008998246974ff4839
To add insult to injury Bittrex has seen growth lately faster than they can increase staff so their Support response times are SLOW. I filed a Support ticket yesterday when I realized my mistake and got this response.
Does anyone else notice this disturbing sentence?
This process can take up to 2 weeks and also requires that you have already generated a message/tag/paymentid/memo.
I really hope that it doesn't take that long as I kind of am really needing that money. It will be another two weeks before I get my first paycheck from this trucking company and that is my means of living. That is around $500 USD lost in the ether right now that I desperately need.
