Leaving out details can make a long story very short...

The devil is in the details, the details of a matter are it's most problematic aspect while seeming insignificant may contain hidden problems that threaten it's overall feasibility. The source of the proverb is often attributed to the German/American architect Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe. The phrase might have been tailor-made for the Steemit platform which requires paying attention to detail whether you like it or not.
Today was a day where the details didn't really matter, although the details always matter today was a day to put aside the matter and go with the flow. Trying too hard to have a relaxing day is an oxymoron, and when the weather is hot and the choices seem limited it's good to take things as they come.
Some days I sit and think for things to write about and what may be interesting for people to read about on Steemit and when I got the call from a local Steemian I made a change in details of the way my day would unfold.
"Come pick me up in your air conditioned sports car at my house and I'm open to anything"
A personal quote from @Ross Fletcher... and I headed directly to his house. I didn't show up in my sports car, but my truck has air conditioning and this is a detail not to be ignored, I knew the reason behind the request and I adhered with a tactic that would make the day go smoothly.
Sometimes the most effective way to be successful on Steemit is to be successful making yourself happy and entertained during the free days and keeping your author responsibilities in the forefront of your brain and an open mind for something cool to bring to the platform that wasn't already there.

It's very easy for me to get wrapped up while staring at the computer screen hoping to be inspired, sometimes this works but other times I need to have a life worth exploring and sharing.
I think a great thing about today was I got to do this with a fellow Steemian and hopefully the community will get to see this day from two different perspectives.
The devil is in the detail, but the details that made this day pretty damn cool are explainable because the details that make a life memorable have to be personalized to be remembered in a way that is different from the story you heard about some other person having a great day.
Don't overthink it.
The long and shore of it is to enjoy this life and allow the Steemit mentalilty to change your perspective and guide you, look beyond fiat and see that there are endless possibilities to explore and benefit in ways that nobody in life has ever had the chance to experience. A technological explorer is what I refer to myself as, I will not be discovering unknown worlds but I will go where no man has gone before me. I look forward to enjoying this journey with each and everyone of you.
