"Love is a lust that goes away at some point." said Tai Lopez, whereas when you LIKE, you enjoy most of your time no matter what.

I guess most of us have experienced that special feeling of being in LOVE with somebody or something. You just love that person, job you have or that thing (lamp) you own. And how does it feel? Probably like wearing so called pink glasses - seeing the whole world differently, colorful and pinky. Meaning you feel uplifted, you probably don't care about the time that much, you think that everything is just PERFECT.
In today's blog I will focus particularly on loving what you DO.

Meet Mrs Piggy, a potential future model: "Hello, it's me, Mrs Piggy, I'm sooo in love with modelling that woah everything became so colorful, especially pinky and I can't even blinky." (even rhymed) She has a friend who is already a very successful model and that's why she decided to become one too.
This is how Mrs Piggy sees the world in modelling (through pink glasses):

But is this the real world? It's probably not. It's more of subjective.
After a while Mrs Piggy started facing some real action but gets almost nothing in return. She poses for 5 straight days 10 hours per day to get a "Thank You for Participating" diploma and roughly 20 dollars. 5 tough days are gone and so is her love for modelling... She is now left with the objective world - the world without colorful balloons.
Moral of the short story: usually people are looking for a hype, a quick scheme to become rich and successful, especially when they see their friends become ones. But they underestimate few important things that are both equally necessary in order to reach all that: the hard work and consistency.
I have personally experienced that with poker. I got so in love with it (just like Mrs Piggy) until I have started to dig deeper into statistics and psychology (not talking about the long hours I had to play). It became a nightmare for me. I couldn't last for few weeks and my love - pink glasses disappeared almost immediately (like snow in a warm sunlight).
Lesson: avoid hype, instead focus on finding or doing what you truly LIKE not love. Because when difficulties will occur, love, in most cases, sooner or later will vanish away. Same can happen in relationships. Be aware of that, observe it objectively (avoid pink glasses).
3 important points to consider when going for SUCCESS in life (by Leo from Actualized.org):
- Create your end VISION - who will you become? What will you do?
- Make a deep RESEARCH on your end vision - what will I have to do to reach my end vision?
- Go for HARD WORK and CONSISTENCY - reaching your end vision.
Remember, it takes TIME to become successful. The real WINNERS are who stay in for the long-term.
