The answer is still... No.
I've been extremely bored the past week. The lack of having anything to do was really catching up to me, and I was having a lot of anxiety. It was to the point where I didn't even feel in the mood to draw anything today.
When @thecastle went shopping for his new phone number today, I veered off into a Gamestop. I was quickly greeted, and had to admit that I was looking for XBox 360 games. That was the only console in the house, but I didn't care if it was "outdated" at this point. The employee directed me to some cheap-as-fk games for the 360. I had told @thecastle earlier "I bet XBox 360 games are like $5 now..." Guess what? I was right.
I had no idea where to start.
Everything the employee dude was recommending, I had already played on PC, or had no interest in. Sorry, but I'm not into sports games. He was kind of surprised at how much of a hardcore gamer I was. I was like "have you heard of Counter-Strike?" The guy looked at me like I was speaking another language. I did end up buying one of his recommendations though.
Dragon Age.
I've seen it played, but never thought I'd be into it. Boy is it story-driven so far. I've only gotten past the beginning, but I'll stick with it a bit longer and see how interesting it gets. I ended up with Origins, and I was like "why does this game look like shit?" I looked it up "Oh, because it's from 2009" So, I made a dumb, and bought the old one...
However, the second game I got, Saint Row IV is fucking amusing as Hell. I'm going to put some hours into this game. I believe it was Saints Row 3 that I played last, that let you beat people up with a purple didlo? I love the edgy personality of this franchise.
Saints Row 3 was fun, but holy shit, you can run at super speeds and jump super high like a super hero (villain?) in the first part of the fourth one? I was drinking rum, and giggling like a schoolgirl as a jumped from building to building and ran cars off the road with my super speed.
You know what? My night wasn't boring. I felt super amused by the console games. But you know what else...?
The graphics still suck.
Oh... and aiming. I will never enjoy a first person shooter on console.
I'll be glad to have my PC back.
