How fast time flies! I did not even noticed my first blog post —my self introduction, is a month old today! Yipee!
[If you haven't read it yet, linking it HERE ]
I could still clearly recall that night I reread my work and deeply contemplated if it was good enough to give it a go and be posted. Those days I was trying to come up with an intro with several moments and days of delays and stops and starts. Afterall, it still seemed surreal that I did it. I conquered my fear of expressing.
A month since I started posting and yet consistency is another battle. With all the other mundane tasks and responsibilities at work everyday, balancing my personal and job related stuffs is a challenge. I could only rarely grab a hold of my phone on duty either. And when I get home, I sleep tired. Well, I'm not really complaining, but just sharing how my usual days are everytime and why staying consistent and being always present is hard.
But somehow, in life, we manage. We persist and we get through —we always do. And that is why I am grateful for the little things I did along the way and for the days I can show up.
I count all my blessings and small wins. So every little thing I accomplished, I give myself a tap.
My first blog post will always be memorable to me. I had created a stronger version of myself curating an alternate name that's still identical to me and resonates through me. It will always remind me of how courageous I was in facing my fears and anxiety of letting myself out in the open and expressing my thoughts and ideas I thought noone cared about. It felt like I stepped in anxious but brave. That for the first time after a very long time, I stood up for me, again.

As with showing up, I had a great start of November when we had our first ever meet and greet with the @hivecebubloggers community through the Hivelloween Party. Again, I was anxious about the costume party so I fickled a little bit. Behold! I pushed through and had the first and memorable halloween party experience in my existence! I had the best night!
Days after, I made my second and third post. Each week, I am fortunate enough to make one blog post. Subsequently, I take mini steps along the way, continuously learning and enjoying, reading and interacting with other hivers in the other parts of the world ❥, reminding myself to just slow down and enjoy the pace. I gain small wins on the days I'm able to post.

And just last Sunday, I had my second gathering with my Hive fam here in Cebu where newbies like me were taught about Hive and given ideas on how to earn while blogging. It was an interactive discussion and fun exhange of ideas among newbies and the onboarding leaders. The collaborative effort of the onboarding leaders @explorewithsasha , @sassycebuana along with @asasiklause and @jongcl has given us inputs to help us grow in this platform. Huge help to have mentors like them! It is on this exact day that I was able to explore more of the Hive buttons and toggle along without hesitation and with confidence in pressing the right ones.

As I was navigating on peakd, I came across my first blog post (self intro) that's already a month old by today! So I thought of writing about my first month with hive and the experiences I had as I get along, as my fourth blog entry. What more better way to celebrate my first monthsary with hive than post about how I spent it so far, right?
Needless to say, but my first monthsary in blogging is fun and I enjoyed it here. I'm totally having a great time!
Though the challenge to write consistently is real, the excitement never stopped. I keep looking forward to the days I'd be able to write and post new stuffs again. I have again become enthusiastic about curating and coming up with new stories to tell.
As I continue to embrace this platform, I have met so many people who are generous enough to share their knowledge and expertise. Again, I am truly grateful to everyone who have helped me in this journey. I couldn't have reach this far without you and ofcourse, the fun and bond that we made all throughout the days existed.
Thanks for reading this far! I hope to connect with all of you guys, virtual or in person. Til my next blog post! :)
Love and light! ✨
