As the old saying goes, "Balls out".
I don't know if LEO 2.0 is going to be successful or not but fuck it. Might as well position myself as if it will be. Unlike a lot of the other tokens that I've been looking at I know that LEO have some staying power and have big plans for the future.
If they succeed the token will become a lot more valuable. If they fail at least it was a fun ride for the past few years but they should have a lot of runway left in the project for the foreseeable future at least.
I did have LEO premium since the very start but i kept forgetting to renew and then having to go and do it again which was annoying but I never had the liquid HBD to sign up for the full year so kept putting it off. I was clearing out my Binance account today and said it was a good time to jump in for the year and get all of the perks that go with a premium account.
I've also been buying off the market for the past week and added over 10K more LEO while prices are still low. With the new deflationary economy it will be interesting to see if the team can generate enough revenue to drive up the prices but LEO has a hardcore group of long term stakers so I'm expecting liquidity to dry up very fast if they can start buying a few hundred dollars a time off the market.
It really wouldn't take much to move the price since the majority oft he tokens are staked right now and even since the announcement people have been making some moves and driving up the token price. When i was buying last week the price was 0.90 Hive per LEO while now it has gone up to 0.12 on my last buy. That's a 25% increase in terms of hive to leo.
And that's with just a $240 daily volume. If the team can generate anything like that in revenue it will spike the price quickly.
That's the big if.
Then you will have the sellers who get excited by a small gain and take their profit after a few years of nothing. I've done it myself instead of waiting for the big payday.
All of this is dependent on a lot of different factors but I would like to build up to 300K LEO since it would be roughly 1% of the total supply which is a nice place to be in any project. Still a long way to go on that front but with a few more purchases, daily blogging and a delegation to leo voter it will get there eventually.
