Hello. I am very excited to begin our journey here on steemit. We Live on a 1967 VIking motor yacht Year round in Michigan.
Her name is "Mystique" And she is a one of a kind wooden motor yacht.
It Has been almost a year since I bought her and it has been alot of hard work and very challenging and i would like to share our journey with you. I am a single father with full custody and I work full time. Taking on a project like this can become overwhelming at times but I wouldn't have it any other way. In the end it is all worth it when you look around and say "wow, I cant believe I live in this awesome boat." The nostalgia will never wear off and its such a peaceful and beautiful place to call home.

Dahlia or (captain snow) Loves living here and with her pony V-Berth how could she not.
There is ALOT of work That has been Done so far and there is MUCH more to come that I would love to share with you guys on this platform.
The biggest job so far was resealing all the leaking Saloon windows and repairing the rot with epoxy. Unfortunately Alot of construction pictures are on a broken phone. but the results are Stunning.

My Parents came over to help put the window panes in and install the tracks.
There was alot of rotten wood. And I mean ALOT! I used alot of epoxy and replaced Certain parts with new wood. experimented with many types of epoxy.
Some well deserved relaxation after 4 months working on her everyday after work.
I am very happy to be apart of this wonderful community and looking forward to begin our blogging journey here on Steemit.
