The commentator Aja The Empress has decided to weigh in to the debate about the pushback that a silly leftist counterprotesting a group Britons upset about the housing of potentially dangerous dinghy invaders in a hotel in Canary Wharf. I’ve covered this story and the ‘Ceausescu moment’ that this leftist got in much more detail in the article linked at the conclusion of this piece but I wanted to draw attention to Aja’s hard hitting comment on this story.
Aja is correct in what she has said about this incident. The pro-invader woman in question, who is a Green councillor in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, does indeed appear to be suffering from a form of suicidal empathy. Aja is also correct in her assessment of the working class man who countered her in a sweary manner. This man’s tone was probably the end result of the concerns that he and his family have had about migration being ignored for decades by the Establishment. This is as Aja says ‘what class war sounds like’.
Here’s Aja’s comment:
"Why should we put that burden (the taking In, looking after and paying for a bunch of men from god knows where) on the rest of Europe? Blah blah climate change blah blah" Says the middle class women who's only burden in life is deciding which identity she is that day. This is peak middle class white guilt.
They have been taught over many years that they come from a privileged country with a privileged life — which, for them, is true. It doesn't mean every person in this country has the same privilege. But they have it, and they've been taught to feel guilty about it. And now, because of that, they have suicidal empathy, and they want to let every Tom, Dick, and Muhammad into the country so he can do whatever he wants.
Meanwhile, people like myself are struggling to pay our bills, struggling to buy food, struggling to get to work in the morning with out climbing over campfuls of migrant men sleeping in parks.
Children are being raped. Women are being harasssd. Everyone's on edge. But this little middle-class girl only gives a shit about men she's never met — men who would spit in her face & her values in a heartbeat. As for that man in the end cussing her off? That's what years of being ignored sounds like. That's what years of being told to shut up sounds like. That's what years of having your needs put last sounds like. That's what class war sounds like."
Comment ends.
I have to admit that this is a very powerful and very politically relevant comment from Aja The Empress. The middle class left have indeed been able to gain and use political power whilst being isolated from the consequences of the policies that they promote but in this particular situation one middle class lefty in particular was faced with disagreement and she clearly didn’t like it one bit.
