The Prime Minister of the UK Sir Keir Starmer is walking somewhat of a political tightrope. He can probably see that putting the Iranian nutcase Islamic regime in its place would be a beneficial thing. An Iran that is of little threat to its neighbours and is not attempting to destabilise its neighbours by funding terror groups like Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houtis is a good thing not just for Israel who are the primary target for the Iranian Mullahs but also for other nations in the Middle East and the Western world in general. The problem is that although Starmer might in private be aware of the threat from Iran he can’t tell the truth about the Iranian threat in public because of the danger that the sort of screaming Islamic nutter Jew haters that have been imported into the UK by his and previous governments and who more than likely support Labour, will kick off, probably violently, if he did.
But there’s another danger to Britons in addition to the foaming at the mouth Jihadi nutcases that are to a greater or lesser extent ‘home grown’ and that is the Iranian contents of the dinghy invasion which has been dispersed throughout the UK. According to the UK’s National Crime Agency in 2024 a total of 4,158 Iranians entered the UK illegally either by small boat or by other means. Whilst some of these Iranians will likely be opponents of the oppressive Islamic regime in Iran genuinely seeking refuge in the UK, we cannot and should not discount the possibility that some of these illegally entering (and some legal entering) Iranians might be Iranian regime operatives. Even if just ten percent of the 4.1k Iranians who came into the UK illegally are hostile to Britain and the West that means that we might have a fifth column of 410 Iranian agents wandering around waiting for the signal to ‘go off’ (maybe literally). That would be in addition to any other Iranian operatives or others who are working for Iranian interests in the UK who could pose a problem.
Britain has already had issues with Iranian operatives including a group of Iranians arrested and accused of targeting anti Iranian regime journalists in the UK, seven Iranians were also arrested for terrorism offences and there have been street attacks allegedly by Iranian regime operatives in London against regime opponents protesting at the Iranian Embassy which resulted in grievous bodily harm to anti-regime protestors. Even if there is an effective ceasefire between Iran and Israel I doubt that this will have any impact on the Iranian agents that Iran has scattered throughout the world and throughout Britain. This is because many of these agents have been in the UK long long before the current Israel-Iran war and are here for the long term interests of the Iranian government.
With Iranian regime activity already happening in the UK and a lot of Iranians entering the UK, some legally and many illegally, it’s wise to wonder whether there are Iranian sleeper cells in the UK just waiting to be activated? These sleeper cells might not just be in those bits of Britain which are already ‘enriched’ but instead spread widely right across the country. They could be in our smaller cities, market towns, villages and anywhere else that many of us might consider to be far away from the multicultural conflicts of our major conurbations.
Because there’s the potential for Islamic sleeper cells to be just about anywhere this means that the threat that they pose is anywhere. If they do kick off then it’s quite possible that they won’t kick off much in somewhere like London where due to experiences of jihadist horror the authorities now make it more difficult to pull off the sort of jihadist horror that such a sleeper cell might want to carry out. On the contrary any Iranian jihadi sleeper cell that is woken up by Tehran might instead decide to go for the sort of softer targets that might, due to their location and nature, be completely unprotected. I’m thinking of attacks on unarmed police officers, hospitals, churches, village fetes, public transport, holiday destinations, schools, theme parks, shopping centres or anywhere else where the chance of committing a jihad atrocity is possible. As the members of these sleeper cells are liable to be brainwashed religious fraggles they probably are not that bothered about getting away after their attack, they may just want to kill for their deity and die themselves doing it. Who knows what these Iranian sleeper cells might be planning, it could even be another Beslan Atrocity, although I pray that they are not going to do anything like that.
None of what I have said about about the potential Iranian threat to Britons should be taken as an invitation to be hostile to any Iranians they might encounter. As I said earlier there are many Iranians who have sought sanctuary in the UK from the appalling oppression of the Mullahs and who have contributed a great deal to British society, for example the alternative media personality Mahyar Tousi who tells Britain what it’s really like under the rule of the Mullahs in Iran. Such Iranians must I believe be embraced and protected by Britons. However we should not be naive about what Iranian regime agents might be doing in the UK. We should become more security conscious and point out to those who need to know any security holes that we might notice in our hospitals, schools churches and other places that might be targeted by Iranian irregular forces in the UK. The threat of jihad from both Iranian sources and from other sources is now increasing to such an extent that maybe Britons need to become a bit more like the average Israeli citizen and be a whole lot more security aware than we are at present.
