A look at the last four years for the inflation rate between these two.
ETH has been trough a wild ride, going down from close to 5%, to a an oscilatory period (fee burns), then a drop after the PoS upgrade in 2022 and a drop in the base inflation to 0.43%. For a short period of time the inflation was negative, due to fee burns, and in the last period its up again close to 0.4%.
Bitcoin on the other hand is having its smooth predictable ride with 1.6% inflation rate up to the halving in April 2024 when it dropped to 0.8%.
Both of these are now very close to each other, with Bitcoin set to drop its inflation rate further in the next halving in 2028, while Ethereum is now with low inflation as well, but unpredictable.
