We had originally set the prices for our builds at 2 Steem per 1 SBI share and 1 Build which would translate to a 1.25% upvote from us. While the ROI time on this is approx. 1 year our sponsor decided to take action and has instructed us to increase the upvote % for each build to 1.5% lowering the price by approx. 20%!
Here's some numbers for a rough idea to ROI:
Price: 1 Build (1.5% upvote) + 1 @steembasicincome share = 2 Steem
3 x builds = 4.5% upvote + 3 @steembasicincome shares. A 4.5% upvote from @steemitbuilder = approx. $0.011 (yes there's more decimal places). $0.011 * 7 = $0.077 * 52 = $4.004 vote value. Considering that 3 Steem of your entry fee goes to @steembasicincome this means you technically paid us 3 Steem and would receive approx. 133% return in 1 year.
In the above example we based our vote value from https://www.steemnow.com/upvotecalc.html using 2400 SP with 80% voting power and varied voting weights. Please do note that we have a little more than 2400 SP which means our vote could be slightly higher depending on factors such as voting power and Steem price. We can't be held responsible for these prices after 31/08/2018 as the price of Steem could change at any time.
Don't Forget The Gravy Period!
The "gravy period" is the time inbetween delegation leases (all our leases are 12 weeks) where we have more SP and counting than our estimates. In phase #2 we base our prices around 2400 SP and if you check our wallet today you will see we have slightly more than this. What this means is that your votes will be slightly increased due to our increased Steem Power! Until the next delegation lease, which will reset us to 2400 SP then we're back into the "gravy period" again, and so on.
Considering that all membership fees are paid 50% to @steembasicincome and 50% powered up it means we can add up to an additional 450 SP while the votes remain at 1.5%! Add in our post rewards and curation, you could be looking at as much as 3000 SP or more in the gravy period, making your upvotes slightly increased.
The gravy period is designed to help give our users a slightly increased ROI during each Phase. We can't give updated totals on vote values, so enjoy it while it lasts! We feel it's better to reward our users than creating a dynamic vote value as it means you're more likely to reach ROI sooner.
Remember All Estimates Are Based On Rock Bottom Voting Power
All of the estimates in this post as of 31/08/2018 are based upon 2400 SP at 80% voting power. This means that our estimates may be lower than you actually receive, as when we have more voting power our upvotes are slightly bigger. This just add's to the gravy period and means you won't be disappointed.
