Regarding this hipotetical burglar:

1. The burglar knew the risks of trying to steal someone else's stuff.
2. The burglar violated my personal space in a way that makes me feel insecure for a pretty long time.
3. If someone does burglary, it is inviting this kind of stuff to happen eventually.
4. A burglar's live worth's less than garbage, therefore my stuff is obviously more valuable.
5. If caused by famine, there are plenty of charities around and instead of stealing my stuff you try to ask for a meal, I would gladly provide something, like buying a snack in a local market.
