I have created several posts about Ukraine's political situation and today I want to post about what is going on since this morning. Today is December 5, 2017 and Kiev has seen what is probably the inception of new revolution in Ukraine. Yes, this country has already lived through two revolutions in the 21st century and quite possible that #3 is on its way.
Mikhail Saakashvili, former Georgian President and former Odessa Governor is building his political influence in Ukraine. After he was deprived of Ukrainian citizenship, the former President "illegally" crossed the Ukraine border from Poland with the help of his supporters and returned to Kiev. Since than Saakashvili managed to improve his political rank in Ukraine and became a serious threat for the current President Poroshenko who was friend of Saakashvili in the past.
Recent activities of saakashvili was reported by several medias. @bayuya posted this in the mid October:

Today almost all opposition political forces of Ukraine stands together with former Odessa Governor and thousands of supporter citizens are demanding Poroshenko's impeachment.
Early in the morning Saakashvili was arrested but the police car could not leave the territory as supporters of the "Movement of New Forces" managed to release their leader as they smashed the car in which former Georgian President was imprisoned.
@bayuya posted earlier today about the arrest and crowd support: https://steemit.com/politics/@bayuya/dec-5-saakashvili-is-protected-by-supporter-crowd-police-is-struggling
Here are some youtube videos showing the morning activities in Kiev:
And here is the video showing how he was released with the help of supporting crowd:
Poroshenko's government is in the dead end as they have stated that Saakashvili will be in Prison within 24 hours. If the arrest will happen, Poroshenko will loose the western (EU, US) support. He has already earned himself dissatisfaction from the western leaders. On the other hand the Ukraine's President claims that Saakashvili is a Kremlin Agent or Spy which is in turn sounds very funny and puts Poroshenko in a comic situation.
What many political experts say, is that all these recent attempts to diminish Saakashvili's reputation acts in contrast to the initial objective and makes former Odessa Governor even more popular among his supporters and these supporters are growing.
Lets see how it will develop. There is one nuance that makes things unclear though as many major western media sources are not covering Tuesday's Kiev news.

With much respect,
