Blood dripping, tired, panting
This stranger isn't like them
Falling on each steps, needing a hand
Gasping for breathe, can't grab what he said.
...
...
A home away from home
Bending his knees, asking for mercy
Tears falls not from his face, cold stone
All he did was beg for more mercy.
...
...
Will time permit us? Let him know?
Those gone before, there blood still flow
Shouting from hell, underneath this fort
Innocent of the cause, for the war they go.

Tell me soldier, show me the way home
War isn't what we thought, home
Got wife and kids waiting at home
Soldier, show me the way home.
...
...
Pity on my face, gently, go this way
For there your men stay
A stone throw away, heard the shot
No mercy for the weak or war frail.
