Today's post is a common false cognate, but it is one that is specially confusing for those English learners who are Spanish speakers. There are many words that in Spanish that might have similar spelling or even sound in English, but they do not necessarily have the same meaning. Let's talk about one in particular
Actual
Recuerda no usar la palabra "actual" para referirte a algo del presente. Debes usar la palabra "current".
Just like the picture says, don't use the word "actual" when you mean to refer to something relevant to the present time. The one you want to use is "current".
