Months have passed and I’m still here. Still here on that same level of happiness and loneliness that I’ve been feeling.
It was year 2017 when I started to see a tweet (tweet has been deleted already sorry) about doing a calendar and putting a color (with different meaning for each color) on each day what represents your mood.
Long story short, I found an app for that! It’s called Stigma. Basically, Stigma is a mood tracker and journal mobile application that works both in Android and iOS. [FREE]
Since February 2017, I started to fill out the boxes with the color that represents my mood for the day. You can mix moods like 2 or more entries per day and it will combine the color to show what average color mood you felt on that day. Green means the happiest while orange to red means the saddest mood. Below you can also see a graph that shows your average mood per month. You can change the scale from day to day or per week.
[This is for the month of April; One day was skipped but it was just due to timezone since I am still in US West Coast while reviewing this]
Another thing you can see on the Graphs tab is the word cloud that shows all the words that you frequently use on your entries. You can also filter the words that you’re using on positive and negative entries.
You can also see your entries in list.
[Sorry! I have to hide my entries because it a bit personal]
How do you write your entry?
You just tap the + sign below and all you need to do is choose your mood for your entry. There are 17 moods from Angry to Ecstatic. Then write your entry. It should be less than 400 characters only. Then you can also share it to the Stigma community or to someone using PenPals.
*There is also an app notification (if you allow it) that will remind you daily to post an entry for the day which makes it a bit better so you won’t miss a day on making an entry.
Other Major feature:
There is a feature called PenPals where you can talk to strangers with the same traits or interests (not a dating type of application though). I’ll try to make another post for this next time!
If you’re someone like me who likes to see how your week, month, or year went, feel free to use this app to track your mood. Let me know your thoughts on this app!
Also thanks for reading!
