On a blockchain as steemit, where there are acivities of different type of people, there is a certainty that not everything will go right
However the mindset that steemit is a place where you come and earn big money has made steemit attract a lot of lazy and dubious people.
So this takes me to the main focal point of writting this, WHY DO PEOPLE TAKE TO SPAMMING?
THE TRENDING PAGE:
We must never underestimate the effect of the trending page on new users.
I made a research and i discovered that most spammed post are on the trending portal, due to the fact that spammers believe that if you are trending, definitely you are rich and can give them free money, this is why i feel something needs to be done about the trending page.
IMPATIENCE
impatience is mainly why some users spam so much, they never care to know what a users has been through and they want to make quick money,sometimes a few of them post about two or three times and earn nothing and instead of maintaining steadfastness and hardwork, they then take to begging and spamming, this of course brings about their failure, and eventually flagging from big dogs and whales.
LAZINESS.
One thing i learnt on steemit is that if you are starting without investment, you will need to work night and day aimlessly, explore a lot, dive into the unkown as burn internet fees.
It took me two weeks to earn my first $10 on steemit, prior to this, i worked like a bee and slept less, this is something which new users do not want to go through. There is nothing free not even in freetown and the laziness to engage in the community, makes people find spamming as the easiest way to be rich.
CONCLUSION.
Greed, lack of courage, lack of idea and innovation is surely need in making the community a better place, and surely this has to be understood, its difficult to change a spammer, and this why spammers remains spammers.
However some people are still in the stage of becoming a spammer, and definitely this post should stand as an advice/tutorial/awdarenes to them to become a responsible steemian, now and in the future.
