The court, on October 1, filed a new date for submitting the investigation report against popular singer Asif Akbar in a case filed with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) law. Today was fixed on Wednesday to submit the investigation report of the case.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate HM Toaha fixed the new day as the investigating officer did not submit the report. According to the sources, Asif Akbar has sold 617 songs including his music works and other lyricists, musicians and artists without permission. In this complaint, lyricist, composer and singer Shafiq Tuhin filed the complaint with Tejgaon Police Station under Information and Communication Technology (ICT) law. Asif Akbar was arrested in the case on June 5 at 1:30 pm.
