One of the greatest advantages to blockchain is it lowers the barrier of entry to the average person. What was once reserved for the wealthy will be available to all short time.
The key is for us all to remain patient while the foundation is established. We must keep in mind the present system took decades to create. In the world of blockchain/cryptocurrency, we are in the early stages.
There are numerous projects out there that can alter the face of wealth. One of these was mentioned by @stan the other day. It is a system that is integrating into the Bitshares network. What this project does is bring the tools that were traditionally reserved for the largest banks and investment institutions and puts them in the hands of the average person.

Using a DEX, Auton.io seeks to provide the cryptocurrency industry with the same tools the legacy industry was using. Algorithmic trading and sentiment analysis are tools that give these traditional institutions a leg up over the regular investor.

This is the basis of what cryptocurrency should be all about. We have the potential to spread wealth throughout the entire globe.
We are seeing many projects that are interested in putting tools in the hands of the general public to increase their wealth. This is a marked change from the present system which tries to such as much money for each individual as possible.

To me, Prosperism means adopting a mindset of "how can we enrich all of humanity". It signifies a shift away from the greed and competition model to one where all seek to enhance what is available to all. This is the age old mindset of open source software.
It will take a while for this mindset to start to penetrate mass consciousness. We much be patient. 2018 was a spectacular year for blockchain. In spite of the bear market, development took place. Huge strides were made in pushing the entire industry forward.
We can help it move forward by encouraging the shift in mindset. By adopting Prosperism, we can help newer people to expand their focus onto what is possible. We are going to see one of the greatest wealth transfers in the history of the world through cryptocurrency. It is up to us to open up the platforms and provide the tools for all to use.
