So I've been taking my time learning how to use Bitshares exchange. I made an attempt to buy some ETH -
a small portion just to send to my ETH wallet to verify that it can receive before I make a purchase on Coinmama.
Alas the amount was too small (0.000029ETH) and when transferring to the exchange to send to my wallet (withdrawing)...it all disappeared. The Gateway fees were 0.005 ETH. I thought it would've failed rather than going through. The transaction was accepted but funds didn't show up in my eth wallet.
I'm guessing more than likely it got eaten my the Gateway fees.
If I was moving a large amount of funds this small Gateway fee wouldn't be an issue, it's so small compared even to 0.1 ETH. It also look like it's a standard fee, so if the amount I was withdrawing was 4 ETH gateway fee is still 0.005. I like it.
So now I'm asking for someone to transfer a small of ETH directly from their wallet (No exchanges and no fees...I think) and I'll transfer it right back.
