A friend of mine share this photo above on facebook asking about "what is man's worst invention?"
I found this question very interesting and I decided to share it on steem.
From the four options on the picture above, what do you think is man's worst invention?
For me my pick is,
Not wars: people, countries and so on are bound to have misunderstanding and this can lead to wars. So as long as humans beings exists, wars are bound to happen even though we don't encourage it. So for me, wars are not the worst invention of man.
Not nuclear bombs. Nuclear bombs are weapons used during extreme wars and since human beings are bound to have misunderstanding that can lead to wars, nuclear bombs are not man's worst invention.
Not Government. Yes I know that government can be very exploitative of people, but has humans beings we need to have structures in place to guide us and government is there to provide that structure, so I don't think that government is the worst invention of man.
But Religion. I think religion is man's worst invention. Not all religions though, but the religion who kill other people in the name God. Religion has I know it, is something that should bring peace in the land, and so if someone can kill another person in the name of religion, then that religion is a terrible religion. So I see religion has man's worst invention particularly the religion that promotes killing of fellow human beings all in the name of religion.
