Located in Kyoto, Japan, Kinkakuji is a Zen temple that is gold in colour. It is said it used to be covered in gold leaves. It was once a place of residence and sits next to a large pond.
It has been burned down many times and its current structure was rebuilt in 1955. Each story is of a different architectural style.
This is a very popular tourist spot in Kyoto and every year it amazes it's visitors with it's beauty.
