This unique architectural structure is located on the territory of the Palace and Park ensemble in Tsarskoye Selo. The bridge is an architectural monument of the second half of the XVIII century..
In fact, it has three names:
- Marble bridge - all its columns and capitals were made of marble:
- Palladium bridge-because the prototype for this bridge was the bridges in the English parks Stow and Wilton, which were built by the famous Italian architect Andrea Palladio;
- Siberian bridge-this name is obtained as a result of the fact that the marble for the construction of the bridge was brought from the Urals;
