Hi guys for my first blog in steemit I would like to share the Byteball airdrop, I'm maybe "too late the hero" by posting this but still I want to share this to our steemit community who don't know about the Byteball airdrop.
What is Byteball?
Byteball data is stored and ordered using a directed acyclic graph rather than a blockchain. This allows all users to secure each other's data by referencing earlier data units created by other users, and also removes scalability limits common to blockchains such as the blocksize issue.
Byteball has its native currencies, Bytes and Blackbytes. It is also a platform for new assets (coins/tokens) you can create yourself at minimal cost in five minutes. You can simply send your asset to anyone with a Byteball wallet, or you can use your asset in many smart contracts. Check the whitepaper for more info.
Rewards for Steem Users
Your steem username will be linked to your Byteball address, the link can be either made public (if you choose so) or saved privately in your wallet. In the latter case, only a proof of attestation will be posted publicly on the distributed ledger.
After you successfully attest your steem username for the first time, you receive a reward in Bytes that depends on your reputation in Steem:
• Reputation 30 or above: $5.00 reward
• Reputation 40 or above: $10.00 reward
• Reputation 50 or above: $40.00 reward
• Reputation 60 or above: $80.00 reward
• Reputation 70 or above: $160.00 reward
Half of the reward will be immediately available, the other half will be locked on a smart contract and can be spent after 1 year.
How to Register in the Airdrop
1. Download first the Byteball Wallet
2. After installing the wallet click Receive to copy your wallet address
3. Go to Chat and click Bot store and then click add Steem attestation bot
4. When added, the bot will greet you with a message explaining the process, after this just click the 3 small dots to insert you address.
5. After this the bot will generate a link to Steemconnect. Click this link, follow the login procedure and connect your steem username.
6. The bot will ask to store your steem username privately in your wallet or post it publicly. You can change this later. After this the bot will ask prove ownership of your address by signing a message. After Signing the message you'll get this text.
7. After this you'll received the reward based on your reputation. You can earn more Byteball by sharing your referral in your blog.
Your reward is exactly same as the new user's reward. 25% of your reward will be immediately available, the other 75% will be locked on a smart contract and can be spent after 1 year.
