Ok for everyone that isn't aware yet BYTEBALL decided to have a free airdrop of their tokens on Steemit. Original announcement by Byteball and update.
If you follow the instructions bellow you can collect these tokens which are worth from 10-160 $ based on your reputation - from 30 upwards. According to the new update there has been some changes:
only accounts created prior to July 12 are eligible for rewards. We also halved the rewards for lower reputation level
- Steem reputation above 30: you get a $10 reward
- Steem reputation above 40: you get a $20 reward
- Steem reputation above 50: you get a $40 reward
- Steem reputation above 60: you get a $80 reward
- Steem reputation above 70: you get a $160 reward
Half of the reward will be immediately available, the other half will be locked on a smart contract and can be spent after 1 year.
I have reputation over 60 and I've got about 41$ worth of bytes available as you can see in the screenshot below of my byte wallet.

You will have these options presented to you based on your operating system:
2 Install the wallet. Press the options in the screeenshots.
3 Click on the Chat icon in the bottom right corner and click Bot store in the top right corner. Find Steem Attestation Bot and click Add bot
4 Now you submit your wallet adress.
Click the small icon at the bottom left (marked red 1) and choose Insert my address (Small expenses wallet) (2) and press the button with the "send" icon (screenshot 2).
5 The bot will now provide a link that will take you to Steemconnect where you sign in with your steemit private key.
6 Final step
Now you will get a message saying "Your steem username is..." from the bot. Click on either "private" or public". If you click "public", Byteball Bytes can be sent to you using your Steem username instead of your wallet address.
I chose public and most do.
So that's it. If you follow these steps you will have gained some free money.
