Big step forward for crypto in Europe!
CACEIS, the asset servicing arm of Crédit Agricole Group, just became the first French bank to obtain the MiCA license.
This means CACEIS is now officially authorized to provide crypto-asset services and custody across the EU. A real milestone!
They now join the ranks of crypto-native players like Deblock and GOin, bridging the gap between traditional finance and the decentralized economy.
We’re especially happy to see that CACEIS is already collaborating with startups like Spiko, which enable investments in tokenized money market funds, a concrete example of real-world asset tokenization gaining traction.
Congratulations to the entire CACEIS team!
We know that earning a MiCA license is no easy feat; it takes rigor, vision, and trust. This achievement is anything but granted.
The ecosystem is maturing. The players are evolving.
Luxembourg is watching, ready to play its role.
And we are as well. 🧡
