I moved the branches here and cleared the lawn.
Those should do it. I could invest hundreds to thousands in far better tools but there are no other trees to cut down. If we buy firewood in the future, it will be possible to cut it using the axe alone.
I had told the insurance company about the left side axial joint (inner tie rod end) problem. They told me they'd call back. At the repair shop where the damage to my car was assessed last December they were very sceptical of any chances that the insurance company would do anything. A few hours ago, they rang me from the insurance company and told me they had decided that the fact that the axial joint had worn out in such a new car was abnormal and very likely a result of the accident. They also wanted to check that the gear rod connected to the steering rod was undamaged. That was wonderful news. The work will be done by the same repair shop that assessed the damage. Instead of setting me back nearly €1,000, this may end up costing me nothing except for the €25 that it costs to take the car to be re-inspected after the repairs.
My car insurance as well as property insurance is bought from If. Great service!
