Dear Steem friends, today i want show you another of my old cars: the fabulous GINETTA G4 SPIDER.
It was the 2002 when i visited the Walklett brother's factory in UK where the Ginetta G4 was built since the sixties.
I was a Lotus Elise fan, well still i am, but i wanted to try something different and the Ginetta G4 was the perfect substitute to a Lotus. More classic and with front engine layout.
So i visited the factory to take a view at the hand made building process.
Finally i was decided to order one G4 in Spider configuration with a Ford Zetec engine and 200 hp.
The problem was that the G4 was never built as Lhd car but only with the steering wheel on the right.
Only after a long discussion i did a last offer to the Walkletts: Lhd or nothing.
After 6 months i got my Ginetta G4 as requested with 200hp engine, British racing green paint, Magnolia leather and Minilites wheels.
I can assure you that 200hp on 650 kgs were a huge kick in the ass.
