I was driving home from work, and as I looked to my right, I couldn't help but stop and take a picture. The sky and the scenery was breath taking. The cows in the distance made it even more tranquil, that it made me stop to take a breath. I find myself meditating at times so that I can reset before I go home to my family. This was one of those times that was unplanned.
Spending 15 minutes here to meditate and take in the scenery was what I needed to be able to get home and spend time with my kids.
If you find yourself with racing thoughts and a busy mind, take a minute out of your day to be in the present moment. Too often, we end up walking to the coffee shop or driving home on auto pilot that we forget what's around us. Being present is a form of mindfulness, and when you truly experience it, it's meditating. This meditation gives you energy and allows you to reset. Remember, be present, take a breath, and think positively.
