Catified experience + Good news for cat lovers
I remember I used to have almost 8 बिल्ली (Billy - cats) at my home. I remember all their names as they were all very close to me and my emotions were involved with my cats. I had a whole family of cats as pet and I miss them all, mostly Sheru, the most idol & notorious kitten as a pet; so beautiful and gorgeous like an idol dictionary kitten.

Sheru came to us when he was just 3 months old and stayed for 4 years, he used to be white furry kitten with brown patches.
The whole cat family started with Kitty (mother), Baba Blacky (father), Sheru (Son), Sherrie (daughter) + Browny, Black Current and Puchy (Sheru's friends). They all used to hang around in our home and they shared totally unbelievable experience that I can never forget.
Sheru used to take care of his little sis Sherrie when she used to be sick and Kitty used to embrace and cuddle her kids. Though, Baba Blacky was a ferocious big cat with (black and white pacthes), he loved his kids but I never was able to gather courage to even touch him. I still remember Baba Blacky's thick & high pitched male MEOWs that used to scare me.
Indian cats are very tender and loving, they take care of each and people around them. The way they rub their cheeks on your foot in the morning, they meow face and the stupid acts of chasing small little lights make us fall in love.
International status for बिल्ली (Billy)
I am very glad that Indian Cat Federation took a step to get international status for the Indian stray cats in International Breed Status.
"In India, cats are discarded just as an animal, and they spend their life mostly on the streets. Pet lovers usually adopt Persian, British, Bengal or Siberian cats. Indian cats are not preferred. An international Billy tag may get them more adoptive owners," says ICF spokesperson Fatima Siamwala.
