1- OVERVIEW

ARK aims to create an ecosystem of linked chains using a SmartBridge technology. Claims to be fast, decentralized and sustainable.

It uses a variation of other DPoS consensus models, where the voting weight is divided across all votes instead of assigning 100% weight to each vote, they say it makes it nearly impossible for a takeover of the network (i'm not so sure about that but it reduced a lot the "tragedy of the commons" issue).

2- Ark's Ecosystem

Physical Card System
They'll provide physical cards and tools for off-chain transactions. They claim to reach even people without traditional bank accounts.
Bridged Blockchain
As stated before, using SmartBridge technology they'll bridge Bitcoin, Ethereum and Lisk's blockchains for now, they are clear stating that it is not limited to those three.
Optional Privacy
They'll look to implement optional privacy payments in an effort to increase the reach of Ark's ecosystem.
