Is the general public being prepped for an emergency evacuation, or is this something else, far more subtle?
We first saw a glimpse of this coming out of the CDC[1] just a few weeks ago with their new classroom infographic for teachers entitled, 'Easy as ABC'[2].

This was a little concerning in its own right, however over the past few days we have seen a similar trend in the UK coming straight from various county councils and other government based authorities.
Here is one from Wandsworth County Council, which was tweeted out yesterday:

It certainly hasn't gone unnoticed, a twitter storm soon pursued and accusations of fear mongering have been flung in the direction of all the above.
Preparedness month
September is 'Preparedness Month' and this whole campaign is being driven by an organisation called 30days30ways[3].
They state on their websites About Us[4] page:
Originally, the ‘preparedness games’ concept was developed by the Clark Regional Emergency Services in Vancouver, Washington. In the USA it has been running since 2010 as 30days30ways during ‘National Preparedness Month’.
In the UK, the Northamptonshire Emergency Planning Team adapted the preparedness games concept for social media and it took off as hashtag #30days30waysUK in 2015. Uptake was so successful that in 2017 it gained its own twitter and facebook handle @30days30waysUK and this website. Today the #30days30waysUK network has hundreds of partners reaching wide audiences.
So it's all innocent enough, isn't it?
Well, maybe it is. Allegedly these campaigns have run every year since 2015 in the UK and last year saw a similar panic from the public when Police Scotland Control Rooms tweeted out the same rhetoric as the tweets above:

The public responded in a very similar way to how they have this year. Confusion and dismay.
Because it's a very good question, 'What exactly are we preparing for?', the UK has no history of environmental disasters such as earthquakes, forest fires, blizzards or hurricanes, we are not at war (well, that's debatable...). So what is this organisation preparing us for?
Insidious Social Engineering
Many people are under the illusion that this Pandemic we find ourselves in the midst of, was the beginning of some major conspiracy, but they are wrong.
The Pandemic is just another part of a far larger conspiracy against society. Regardless of whether or not the virus exists, and if it does, whether it's man-made or natural is not relevant, the conspiracy is in the global reaction we have been victim to.
#GRABBAG is just another part of the programming for your mind. Subtle, friendly tweets about emergency preparedness, what's the harm in that?
It's drip feeding imminent fear and danger into the hearts and minds of the public, that's where the harm is.
We have been slowly but surely engineered to become fearful creatures, fearful of the environment, fearful of illness, fearful of disaster, fearful of viruses, fearful of the unvaccinated, fearful of terrorism, fearful of the unknown. We need not fear any of these things, the only thing we really should be fearful of is fear itself.
Fear is the mind killer, the soul killer, the ultimate killer.
