I am working as a nestle merchandizer in pharmacy and my products are milk formula for babies. Everyday, I need to check pharmacy to pharmacy in the area. Every Mondays, like today, I am assigned to Baniyas area in Abu Dhabi. It is a 30-45 mins drive and I am here for the whole day. Being a merchandiser is not easy especially when you are assigned to the pharmacy. I remember 2 years ago when I was selected to be a merchandiser. I didn't have a car and haven't applied for driving license yet. I took cab and most of the time walked from one pharmacy to another under the desert heat. I wanted to give up.Everyday for almost 2 years I walk at almost 50 degrees celsius desert heat but everytime my body wanted to give up, I always think of my growing family. My daughters who are still studying back in the Philippines and a little boy who was still inside his mama's tummy.

One of those days while we were waiting for a cab to send this little man to his Aunt before we go to work
Every morning when I wake up for that 2 years, I struggle to go up and go to work because it wasn't easy but thanks be to God because last year, I got my driver's license after failing once the following month, I loaned money from the bank to buy a car which also helped us driving my son to his Aunt every day to leave him there while me and my wife work. For 3 months since my son was born, we took cab, spending 50 dirhams everyday for the cab alone. Sometimes seeing him and my wife waiting for a cab in a desert heat made me cry that why I tried to pursue my driver's license. Today, life is getting better now. I thank God because he never gave up on us. I have been praying for the driver's license and I passed. Pray and believe that it shall be given.
