With all of the cold weather we've had in the south, you might think this is a photograph of snow but it is not. I took this photograph a couple of days ago. It is a cotton field after being cleared and the white stuff is cotton. This field is located on Lake Tillery near Norwood, North Carolina. The field was cleared in late fall and the cotton was bundled in large bales and shipped out by tractor trailer trucks to be milled and used in the textile industry.
