The year has come and gone and another year, this time the forty-second year of the blacksmith festival, is taking place at Helfštýn Castle.
The 42nd edition of the international meeting of artistic blacksmiths Hefaiston attracted blacksmiths from all over the world. During this event, which traditionally takes place on the last weekend in August, it was possible to admire live demonstrations of blacksmithing, see hundreds of exhibits and be carried away by the atmosphere of the castle courtyards.
I visited this event with my family first thing in the morning to escape the crowds. I took a few photos to share with you.

Rok se s rokem sešel a na hradě Helfštýn se koná další, tentokráte dvaačtyřicátý ročník kovářského festivalu.
42.ročník mezinárodního setkání uměleckých kovářů Hefaiston přilákal kováře z celého světa. Během této akce, která se koná tradičně poslední srpnový víkend bylo možné obdivovat živé ukázky kovářského umění, prohlédnout si stovky exponátů a nechat se unést atmosférou hradních nádvoří.
Tuto akci jsem navštívil s rodinou hned z rána, aby jsme aspoň trochu unikli davu lidí. Udělal jsem pár fotek o které se s vámi chci podělit.
