You start to reply to fresh post on the same basis
Of Follow me kind of thing
Some of them go even haven't stopped doing it even after 2 months
So they have over 2000 followers
Nothing bad with that
You are good to have 2000 followers
The problem starts when you post and you realise that from all your 2000 followers you only get 1 upvote or 2
So your post doesn't really get any rewards
Why is it that happening if you have 2000 followers?
Well because you haven't really built a fan base followers
You only have some numbers your 2000 followers are just numbers
In order to build Followers to upvote on your Post and Comments you need to write Posts!!
Commenting has to somehow help the post you reply to, if you have any knowledge about it reply and let everyone know, you might get some followers from there
Let them choose if they should follow your blog
Basically 1 follower that follows you because you might give some good info or because likes that you have left some good comments on his posts will be more valuable to you then all you 2000 follow for follow thig
After you have written a post
Make sure you answer to all comments and Upvote the ones you believe it stands out the most
Now the next step is to go and start commenting on other posts and make friends
To make friends you have a few tools you can use
Firstly you have Steemit chat I suggest starting from there
general where you should interact with users
Ask them how it works and help will be given
