My first and only motive to join Steemit was actually simply placing a backlink to one of my websites. I must admit I did not know anything about this community. I almost forgot about it after I signed up, because it took quite a few days before registration process was confirmed.
However, as soon as I looked into Steemit, it's sister steem blockchain websites and apps, I have realized that this might be an excelent oppportunity for me to use this platform as the blogging tool for different types of posting ... stories, photos, contests, etc.
Yeah, using this platform is a lot of fun, but I'm afraid it can be actually very addicting. What I like the most you can discover many interesting people from all over the world here on the platform and the fact that you can also learn a lot. And yes, the fact that you can earn something is also a very nice plus.
When I first signed up, I did not think I will be using this platform practically on daily basis now. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram ... etc. what are they, again?
