Hi All, this is Michelle of @michellecarter giving you an update on what we have found so far about how to help finding missing children.
I came across @finnian on Steemit and he is a Private Investigator.
He has shared some very interesting information with me and he's going to do a post on 'What to do if your child goes missing'. Now we all hope this never happens, but it's good to the most effective information to hand for anyone who might need it. This will be a great post so we look forward to @finnian doing the research for us all for this.
What @finnian has shared with me, which is so absolutely amazing is that many Private Investigators DO NOT CHARGE for finding kidnapped children - so wonderful news here!
We were chatting in Steemit Chat, for quite a while actually yesterday and the chat was that:
- We don't need a website at this time
- We can probably run a lot of the information through Steemit
- Some Private Investigators will do work for FREE!! Great guys!
- There is an app called Cell 411 that you can use to report a missing child
- A lot of people think police will tell you that you have to wait 24 hours or something if a child goes missing - not true!
- The police will respond immediately if your child goes missing, especially for children under 12
Moving forward with this information then, we are wanting to start to compile a list of Private Investigators who are willing to find missing children for free and to compile this list into areas to make it more user friendly.
So we would really appreciate it if you could post in the comments the:
- AREA (See Map for A Number)
- STATE / COUNTY
- NAME of PI
- WEBSITE LINK of any PIs
We would like to go global, and we have had offers of help from @sharoonyasir who is from Pakistan and is willing to write some posts for us and also to translate posts into Urdu, so I really feel we have the Steemian support here to go global and get other amazing Steemains on board to translate into other languages!
