Prequel
N,N-Dimethyltryptamine - more commonly known as DMT is a naturally occurring psychedelic compound that can be found in Earth's many organic species.
There are two plants that are known for their 1-2% concentration levels of DMT.
1.) The inner root bark of the Mimosa/Acacia Tenuiflora tree.
2.) The leaves of the Psycho Viridis bush.
These plants can be found throughout central and northern-south America.
We will preform an Acid/Base extraction on the Acacia/Mimosa plant material to isolate the DMT in its freebase state.
Harvest your bark cuttings and powderize them to the best of your ability..
Preferably use a Mill and then Coffee Grinder or Blender.. Or find it pre-powdered.
DMT has been known to wake the spiritually dead as well as cure emotional, mental and physical stress.. Please handle with care and respect.
This is medicine and should be used in the manner of health.
Extraction
The yield is typically around 1-2%.. a standard dose size is roughly 50mg of freebase DMT. 5g of bark will yield 1 dose, 50g will yield 10 and a half kilo(500g) will yield 50 doses.. Scale accordingly..
DryTek
Ingredients
Distilled white vinegar, Picking Lime(calcium Hydroxide Ca(OH)2), and Naphtha
Gear
Glass* measuring cup, Glass* stirrer (or wood.. Psy have used a stick.. yes)
[never metal or plastic], Pyrex dish and a fan.
DryTek Acidification Step
We will saturate the bark with a 50:50 H2O-Vinegar solution. This Acid step is transforming the DMT alkaloids into their Salt(acidic) state, which will shake them loose from the organic material and make them much more soluble in water.
As you can see in the above image we are making 10 individual presents
[500g or 10x 50g projects] which will each yield 10 doses per container.
This image is just a visual to help you make it a reality.
You will be making one of these with 50g.
These clients took the measuring cup home and processed the bark on their own with detailed instructions of course..
10 hits of DMT will last a long time.. The DMT shelf-life is short, so it's best to only extract a dose when necessary... This approach also prompts self-shamanism..
Psy would love to give you a mud-ball someday. But let's focus on one project...

This is not the approach you would take when creating 1oz + of freebase DMT, but ONLY if you choose to prepare the mix for someone( or SWIM - Someone Who Is Me) who will continue the extraction on their own time.
Make a 50:50 H2O-Vinegar solution and mix it with the powder bark until we achieve a brownie batter like consistency. You will hear the acidic reaction snap, crackle and pop.
This is actually brownie batter..... But this is the consistency we want.
Dry enough to avoid running liquid, liquid enough to induce the chemical reaction.
Mix the Vinegar/H2O with the bark for 15 minutes. Then we add the Lime.
DryTek Basification with Lime
Psy think it is best to use images of pre-cake... and deserts to help jog our mind... Now, we are seeking a cookie-dough like substance... ..we must dry out our 'brownie batter' with Lime.. If you make it too dry, adding more water wont hurt. Achieving the proper consistency is most important - as long as you can pack the solid material to the bottom of the measuring cup, it is thick enough.
Our goal is to create the equal difference between
Liquid - Liquid Mush - "Mush" - Mush Solid - Solid
We want the water to stay within the organic material.. and allow an easy mix of our non-polar solvent. As you can see scaling this DryTek upward would be nonsense... If we were to try to extract from 500g of bark, for a DryTek we would need 500g of Lime... DryTeks are limited to material size.... This is where chemistry gets interesting...
Though, the stronger the base.. or acid... the more toxic to the human being... Lime is FANTASTIC for those with patients and looking to keep things local.... When pulling DMT for the masses... DON'T USE LIME! *
Add Lime to the bark until we have our cookie dough like consistency cluster mixed up. AGAIN - We want the water to stay within the organic material.. and allow an easy mix of our non-polar solvent.
This should be mixed for at least 15 minutes to see through the catalization of the chemical reaction.
Time to Pull
This step can be done with several different non-polar solvents... however, depending on how pure your extraction is, or what step you are at will determine what solvent you use... YES, these metal cans with toxic fuel names can be intimidating..
We want to add our Naphtha in increments to the organic mush and stir vigorously... Psy do not have an image of this particular step, so Eye will refer to a mescaline extraction of m'eye'n

In this image you will see an organic mix(Cacti/H2O/Vinegar/Lime) that was mixed with Xylene... Naphtha will replace the Xylene in this task.... Mix and separate...
Pulling/Drying
Separate your DMT saturated Naphtha into a pyrex dish for drying. Set near a fan in well ventilated area..
Go read a book or make some art..... This may take a few hours but the liquid fuel will evaporate 100%...
Meditate... go play... Your DMT will be there waiting for you....
Scrape and Smo-alk!
Now.... while you were reading your book.. The Naphtha may have evaporated 100%...

However... if you are an alchemical-hobbist.. You may want to play with your crystals...
DMT extract can be recrystallized by dissolving the extract back into a solvent, in this case Naphtha (hexane works better).
It will dissolve the DMT and leave the impurities behind... This is important when attempting to weight precise doses, especially intravenously... The over all purity-weight scale ranges in the <20% prior to a Recrystallization(ReX)- This is great for accurate dosing but considering how potent DMT is... You'll probably NEVER notice the difference...
Psy don't know how to feel about the number of times Eye've smoked freebase DMT.. If floats between the junky/obsession level of 80+ to less than 100 experiences, most of them journled... which were all extracted and tested on the self...

As you can see a recrystallization is hard to notice by the eye.. But the lungs sure notice... and so do your peers.......
The best way to clean(Rex) your DMT... is to redissolve it into a small amount of solvent and let the impurities settle.
This is a great example which is not mine...
Let's step back a bit.... Now that you know how to ReX.. what if you were starting with a few kilos of product??
Let's take 500g of bark and preform and acid/base wash with in a jug..... We will use Lye, not Lime...
How do we get the DMT out? We are using liquid so we will use Lye, or Sodium Hydroxide for our Base. It is stronger and can handle reaction of this concentration...
1g per 1g of bark will suffice...
Shake vigorously... let separate and use a pipet to withdraw the DMT saturated fuel....
Continue the drying process with fan assistance. Scrape... Meet God.... 50mg dose.... enjoy
You can further extract to pull the fundamentals out of the product... This is known as Jim-Jam... VERY powerful
This can also be infused with an herb of your choice.. In this case - Organic Blue Lotus
