With less than 24 hours of "Week 24" remaining, decided to try to pump out some 1-minute bullet matches, and also run them through the chess engine afterwards. Since these bullet matches are so quick, being able to analyze them with the chess engine seems to have some benefits which are in some ways even more valuable than running the 5-minutes matches through the engine. One of these benefits is the engine being able to detect and name the type of combinations/openings (ex. "Sicilian", Philidor Defence, etc.). This also make it possible to record a SINGLE bullet match, plus its associated chess engine analysis, into a video which is longer than five minutes, and therefore more worthy of a proper watch for the viewer.
Also, recently discovered - and been warming up to - the "Chess Dojo" YouTube channel
https://www.youtube.com/@ChessDojo/videos
and will be running some more of the upcoming matches in these videos through the Chess.com and/or LiChess match analyzer engines, when deemed appropriate. The following "Chess Dojo" video covers the subject of "chess engines" in good detail for current purposes, and it is highly recommended for any-ONE interested:
Will be showcasing different channels, and their videos, as they are discovered, and consumed, through the process of producing these videos, in order to provide a productive selection of resources to the reader/viewer.
Also, want to give a shout-out to the "Rage Quit Chess" channel, whose entertaining 1-minute bullet videos have been an inspiration for getting more seriously into bullet format - in "healthy" doses:
"3 For 3" Triple Rage!!! ("Rage Quit Chess" channel)
Sure hope that Swami @cryptogee ( @cryptogee/posts ) gets back to producing videos again soon. Got a response to a previous comment on his latest video from over a week ago, and hope that mentioning him here will motivate him to pick up on creating more of his ZANY bullet sessions.
The goal of this project is to document the PROCESS of "Play to Learn/Earn", while making a personal contribution to the chess community (online, and maybe even offline) ;-?
