I'm going to touch briefly on schema's. Something I've found really interesting since becoming a parent.
SCHEMA Schemas are described as patterns of repeated behaviour which allow
children to explore and express developing ideas and thoughts through their play and exploration.
Does your child throw things a lot? Maybe they have a Trajectory schema
When schema's are recognized it's easier to understand why they do what they do when they do what they do.
Documenting Schema's can also be really interesting as quite often the schema is still present in adulthood. And when you recognize them early & allow + cater to them that is when you're likely to see it flourish.
My daughter has had an Enclosure schema since a young age.She'll squeeze in to tiny gaps, sit in tiny buckets, wrap things up
feel most comfortable in enclosed spaces
cover herself in paint.
