Winter is in the air and I feel like more chillout music is in order! Sometimes chillout can be so relaxing because it doesn't try to grab all your attention but rather soothe you into a peaceful and serene state with ease, so that before you know it your mind has long started to calm down.

Well, if you are looking for some downtime from your studies, your chores or worldly responsibilities Dynamics Illusion's aptly named album "Life" is just perfect for the job.

It features a good 70 minutes of chillout tunes with a steady character and high dynamic range. Kicks and basses build a rich foundation to rest upon as the tracks progress to their full theme, writing a journey in chapters that is both grounding in its feel and yet marvelous to listen to from a purely passive standpoint. Color is always present but never overwhelms the listener nor does the artist try to paint pictures that don't fit the track.

As the album progresses we fall into the grooves and rhythms of the album as the tracks become more and more danceable and exciting, though always retaining the chill approach to the whole record throughout.
